No need to connect camera to GPS - just make sure camera's clock is set right. QuakeMap relates JPEG photos to GPS tracks on the fly, using the timestamps that your camera always puts into every JPEG image. label your photos with coordinates & time. embed EXIF coordinate tags into images to position them directly on the map. • place your photos and track log (.gpx) in a folder. Drag the folder to QuakeMap window. That's all.



• optionally you can Zip the folder, creating a single-file photo collection.
• optionally rename the .zip file to .gpz (you can associate this extension with QuakeMap using Map->Options->Files menu).
• QuakeMap will open the folder or a .zip or a .gpz file the same way as .gpx or .loc files.

• To see a sample SmugMug.com gallery, run QuakeMap with no tracks loaded, use "Photo->PhotoManager" menu and select "Gallery - SmugMug.com" tab for input. The URL will be "http://heysmile.smugmug.com/gallery/576522" - click on "Bulk Import" and select "Yes" when offered to load a sample track file.
• To see your own gallery associated with a track, make sure that you upload original .jpg files to a SmugMug.com gallery. Load a GPS track in QuakeMap, and use Photo Manager with appropriate gallery URL. You can share the .gpx file (track) and the gallery URL via email with other people, photos will be waiting for them in SmugMug.com storage.
