Q: How can I can I completely uninstall QuakeMap?

A:
To uninstall QuakeMap, use Windows Control Panel. The uninstall process deletes all QuakeMap program code and other information associated with QuakeMap, and also removes QuakeMap folders (see below). Registry is not affected, so there is no need to clean it up.

Running C:\Program Files\VitalBytes\QuakeMap\UNWISE.EXE (Wise uninstaller) is another way to do the job.

By default, QuakeMap installs in C:\Program Files\VitalBytes\QuakeMap folder. Mapping database is created in C:\QuakeMapMaps folder. The database folder can be deleted at any time - the program will recreate it as needed, loading maps from the Internet.
