1. Any Pentium 800MHz class or better machine with at least 128Mb of memory (RAM). Screen resolution 1024x768 minimum, 1600x1200 recommended.
2. Windows 98, ME, 2000, 2003, XP, Vista. For older Windows you may need to download and install FREE Microsoft .NET Framework Windows component - follow directions here.
3. Internet connection is required for near real-time earthquake data updates and for maps loading. Broadband connection (DSL or cable modem) is highly recommended, but modem at 56Kb works OK (sometimes you will have to wait 1-2 minutes while map tiles are loaded)
1. download quakemap.exe (approx. 1.6 Mb) here
2. after downloading, double-click on quakemap.exe file and follow instructions.
